RightAway Appliance, LLC – Terms of Service

Welcome to RightAway Appliance, LLC. By booking a service with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Services Provided
RightAway Appliance, LLC offers in-home appliance diagnostics, repairs, and installations for residential appliances. Services are performed by independent contractors under agreement with RightAway Appliance.
2. Diagnostic & Trip Fees
A non-refundable $50 diagnostic/trip fee is charged for every service visit, which includes technician travel and appliance assessment. If the repair is declined or the appliance is not repairable, this fee still applies.
3. Estimates and Pricing
Repair costs are provided after the initial diagnosis. Final pricing includes:

Labor fees

Cost of parts (with standard markup)

Any additional charges for same-day repairs or specialty services
Customers will receive an estimate before work begins and must provide verbal or written approval for the repair to proceed.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately upon job completion. Accepted forms of payment include:

Credit/debit cards (processed via Stripe)

Online invoice payments
-
Other methods with prior approval
Failure to pay may result in legal action and/or reporting to collections.
5. Refund Policy
We stand by the quality of our work. However, due to the nature of in-home services and time spent, the following refund policy applies:

Diagnostic fees are non-refundable.

Parts and labor are non-refundable once the repair is completed, unless the issue falls within our 30-day warranty (see below).

Refunds will not be issued if the customer fails to allow us to return under warranty to address the issue.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled at no charge if done at least 24 hours in advance.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

No-shows may be charged the full diagnostic fee.
7. Warranty Policy
We offer a 30-day limited labor warranty on all repairs completed by our technicians. This warranty covers:

The exact issue originally diagnosed and repaired

The same part installed (if it fails)
The warranty does not cover new or unrelated issues, misuse of the appliance, or any third-party tampering. Customers must allow RightAway Appliance the opportunity to correct any warranty-related issues.
8. Limitation of Liability
RightAway Appliance, LLC is not liable for:

Pre-existing damage

Manufacturer defects
-
Loss of food, time, income, or any incidental damages due to appliance failure
9. Use of Subcontractors
Services may be performed by subcontracted technicians who are required to follow company standards and policies.
10. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a billing or service dispute, customers agree to first contact RightAway Appliance to resolve the issue. Chargebacks without prior communication may result in collections action and legal response.

Dispute & Chargeback Policy
At RightAway Appliance, LLC, we take pride in delivering high-quality, professional appliance repair services. In order to protect our technicians, company, and legitimate customers, we maintain a strict policy regarding payment disputes and chargebacks.
1. Cardholder Authorization
By booking a service through our website, phone, or booking form and entering your credit or debit card information, you authorize RightAway Appliance, LLC to charge your card for any services performed. Charges may include:

Diagnostic/trip fees

Agreed-upon labor costs
-
Approved parts and materials
-
Emergency or same-day service fees (if applicable)
2. Service Confirmation
All repairs are discussed with the customer before work begins, and your card is only charged upon confirmation of the work or immediately after completion. A record of service, technician notes, and invoice is maintained for every job.
3. Warranty and Resolution Process
We offer a 30-day warranty on labor and parts installed. If any issues arise within that period, we must be given the opportunity to inspect and correct the issue. Failure to allow us to return to address the repair voids any claim to a refund or dispute.
4. Chargebacks & Disputes
Unauthorized chargebacks or bank disputes will be actively contested. We reserve the right to:

Provide all evidence of service completion, including technician notes, parts receipts, communication logs, and your authorization

Pursue the matter legally or via collections if the chargeback is ruled in your favor fraudulently

Block any future service requests from the individual responsible for the dispute
5. Legal Action & Collections
If a customer files a dispute without first contacting us to resolve the issue, and the dispute results in a financial loss to the company, we reserve the right to send the account to collections or pursue legal action.

By booking with RightAway Appliance, LLC, you agree to these terms and understand that credit card disputes are not a substitute for communication or honoring the agreed repair terms.
